Created in 2004, by the merger of CLSC Notre-Dame-de-Grâce/Montreal-Ouest, CLSC René-Cassin, Richardson Hospital and the Henri-Bradet Residential Centre, the CSSS Cavendish includes now eight sites:
- CLSC Benny Farm (formerly CLSC de Notre-Dame-de-Grâce/Montreal-Ouest);
- CLSC René-Cassin;
- Richardson Hospital;
- Catherine-Booth Hospital; and
- Henri-Bradet, Father-Dowd, St-Andrew and St-Margaret Residential Centres.
The CSSS Cavendish offers health and social services, rehabilitation services and long-term care. More than 1400 employees and 30 physicians work at the CSSS Cavendish. These health care professionnals offer services to residents of the western sector of Montreal that includes Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, Montreal West, Côte St-Luc, Hampstead and Snowdon-West.
